Welcome and Happy MetsGiving to all, even the Haters and the Losers! 

Welcome to my great new site! It’s about time that I was allowed to express myself in long-form. Being constrained to 280 characters without an edit button was really limiting me and very unfair to you all. I am hoping to provide Mets fans with some awesome content here while still providing my usual stream of solid-gold Tweets on the daily.  

Speaking of Twitter, with the very real risk of an imminent Twitter collapse, I know you are all extremely thankful to be hearing from your favorite Mets Twitter personality in this new forum. As I have said many times, I will stay on Twitter to fight the good fight until the lights go out.  They will have to drag me out. I’m the Chief and the Chief goes down with the ship!   

That being said, I strongly advise all the members of our great Mets Twitter community (even the Coutinhos and Martinos)  to set up shop on at least one alternate platform so we can stay in touch in the event Twitter suffers a prolonged outage or permanent shutdown. The very smart Tech people that I speak to regularly place the odds of Twitter surviving the next 90 days at less than 50%.  To that end, I have created this space to serve as the new Winter HQ for your’s truly.  I hope you all enjoy it.
